Plymouth County Extension
What is Extension
The extension service was established in 1914 at each states land grant colleges to provide up to date, research based information to local farmers, businesses and residents in agriculture.
The extension is also responsible for the 4-H program in the state.
The extension in this state is affiliated with the University of Massachusetts.
Here in Plymouth County we have an agricultural extension educator and an entomologist to assist our residents. We also have a 4-H educator to offer programming relative to 4-H.
