Plymouth County 4-H Plant Science Project

The Plymouth County Extension 4-H program sponsors a FREE 4-H Sunflower Project for Plymouth County schools.

This FREE 4-H Plant Science Project is being offered to

Plymouth County children ages 5-18.

In addition to receiving the seeds  and planting instructions each youth participant has the opportunity to enter to have their sunflower judged at the East Middleboro 4-H Fair on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

How do I participate?

Plymouth County 4-H has a sunflower growing project available to Plymouth County schools, groups, homeschools, and families.  This includes seeds and instructions to grow your own sunflower at home.  For classrooms, we offer Plymouth County students ages 5-18 a free curriculum that follows the MA educational standards.

We encourage youth to participate through their classrooms for the best educational experience.   Additionally, we offer in person or virtual classes on growing your sunflower for Plymouth County schools free of charge.  Contact us for more details.

If your class is not participating and and you want to participate as an individual please fill out the order form below with your home address.
